Free APcSecure removal instructions

APcSecure is a fake anti-spyware application form the notorious WiniGuard malware family. Don't be fooled by its name or look. It won't make "a pc secure" nor do anything useful in the first place. It's a fraudulent program that is promoted and installed through the use of Trojans. This misleading program imitates a system scan and reports false scan results. It displays fake security alerts and notifications to scare you into believing that your computer is infected when actually it's not. This scam was designed to steal money from inexperienced users, don't purchase it!

Trojan that distrubute APc Secure is called Fake.Alert.AB [Eset]. It comes from fake online scanners or from other misleading websites. Once active, it downloads launched APcSecure scareware and displays fake security alerts. That's of course very annoying and in same cases users won't be able to do even a regular task or open any program, not even talking about anti-virus software. To make this scan look more reliable and APcSecure impersonates Windows Security Center and promotes a full version of the program. However, as you may already know, the legitimate one doesn't promote any anti-virus software. It's used just to provide information about current PC security status.

You will also see fake notification form Windows Task bar which states:

Your computer is infected with spyware. It could damage your critical files or expose your private data on the Internet. Click here to register your copy of APcSecure and remove spyware threats from your PC.

APcSecure removal guide is provided below. You can remove this virus either manually or with an anti-spyware application. Please note that manual removal doesn't include malicious files of additionally installed malware. To remove all infections (Trojans and rootkits) that come with APcSecure please download an automatic removal tool and scan your PC.

Also please avoid Apcsecure.com. That website is dangerous and hosts HTML/Fake.Alert.AB virus. If you don't have reliable and updated anti-virus software your PC will be infected.
